Who's behind the Home Physio Company?

The Home Physio Company was set up in 2016 by Suzy Gluck. Suzy completed her Physiotherapy training at the University of Birmingham 2002-2005 then returning to her home and began working as a qualified chartered physiotherapist in Morriston Hospital, Swansea.

Suzy has worked for the NHS since qualifying and has gained vast experience in all areas of physiotherapy. She has specialised in frailty, elderly rehabilitation, respiratory care and neurology.

Suzy’s family have lived in the Cowbridge, South Wales area for many years and she felt it was the perfect place to set up her company.

The Home Physio Company hopes to help many clients fulfil their full potential and live an active life.

Our core values

We believe in giving you your voice back and empowering you so you feel in control once again. It is vital to listen to what you want and fully involve you in your treatment, progress and improvement.

In working with you as a whole person, which includes understanding your environment and circumstances, as well as those of your partner, family and carers, so that we can work together as a team to solve problems and make quality of life better for all.

What to expect in the initial consultation?

When we first meet you we will conduct an in-depth assessment of your needs and/or difficulties.

We'll discuss our findings with you in order to establish a personalised treatment programme, specifically designed to address your unique challenges.

Going the extra mile!

We can advise those close to you on what your condition means to you and how they can assist you in achieving your goals.

We will happily work with a carer, family member or friend so that they can help provide elements of your therapy to help manage your condition and limit further problems.

We accept self-referrals via your GP or consultant.

Our promise to you...
1

We will always be open and honest about what we hope we can achieve, taking into account your specific condition or presentation and communicating with you every step of the way.

2

We will help you set targets so that you can see how you are progressing towards your goals.

3

We will problem-solve how we can address the impact your challenges have on your daily life.

"Suzy, I just wanted to send you a note to say thanks so much for all your help and support over the past couple of months - You're an absolute star!"

"My husband suffered a severe stroke which has left him with complete lack of movement to his right side and also very limited speech. Suzy shows a genuine interest and respect for him and has developed such a good relationship with him that he looks forward to seeing her. She encourages him with her patience, sensitivity and sense of fun and has certainly maximised the quality of his life. His progress has exceeded expectations."
